Used car ministry helps with a hand-up
- Volunteers in Action assists qualifying individuals in need of transportation by supplying them with a donated car. A reliable car helps by providing transportation for obtaining or continuing employment or education.
- Recipients are low-income individuals who are referred by supporting church pastors, deacons, or by caseworkers from social service agencies.

- The Volunteers in Action Used Car Ministry always needs vehicles in good working condition with at least two years of life.
- Simple repairs are made by volunteers who donate their time and expertise to make the cars roadworthy.
