Partners for Success
An adult peer mentoring program that matches volunteer mentors with low-income or unemployed jobseekers that have barriers to employment.
Participants
Mentees set his/her goals for change with a plan for success.
Mentors encourage and support the mentee in developing an action plan for success.
Commitment
Mentors and mentees commit to spend one hour a week together for 6-12 months.
Training
Mentor training is offered four times a year.
Mentor in-service meetings are held three times a year for mutual support and to share experiences.
Reward
Mentees gain self-confidence as they accomplish their goals and experience success.
Mentors develop genuine compassion for the working poor.
